At Overlook Mountain Mastiffs our goal is to breed the finest Neapolitan and English Mastiffs. We are a small kennel, breeding 1-2 litters per year, focusing on quality not quantity. Mastiffs are descendants of the ancient Molosser dogs that marched with the Phonecians and later with the Romans. These dogs were also used as arena combatants because of their fearless nature. In the last 200+ years these noble beasts have been used primarily as home guardians and family companions. For more information about the history of Mastiffs check out our History Page.
At OMM we strive to produce Mastiffs with dense mass, breadth of body and heavy bone. Our dogs are family raised to ensure stable temperaments, and originate from English and Neapolitan champions from the US and around the world.
